Carrie Fisher's mum pokes fun at daughter's Harrison Ford affair
The internet erupted yesterday when Carrie Fisher confirmed she bumped uglies with Harrison Ford 40 whilst filming Star Wars.
But now her mum Debbie Reynolds has waded into the fray, questioning why anyone even cares.
"Why all the fuss about Carrie's admitting she had an affair with Harrison Ford?" the tech-savvy 84-year-old wrote.
"I have to admit I slept with her father! New book on 11/22!"
Debbie, who is most widely known for the 1952 hit film Singin' in the Rain, is of course referencing her ex husband Eddie Fisher, who left her for her best friend Elizabeth Taylor.

Scandal!
“My three husbands all left me for another woman and obviously I wasn’t a very sexual lady,” she told The Express last year.
“My husbands all repeatedly said the same thing - that I was not a very passionate woman.”
Debbie's tweet comes as her daughter confirmed her three-month fling during filming for Star Wars: A New Hope with the then-married Harrison Ford.
"It was so intense," the 60-year-old actress revealed to People magazine in a new interview about her book "The Princess Diarist".
Referring to their Star Wars characters she said, "It was Han and Leia during the week, and Carrie and Harrison during the weekend."
Harrison, who was 33 years old at the time and married to his college sweetheart Mary Marquardt, later split with his wife - but Carrie claims their divorce "had nothing to do with me."
In her book, Carries says she and Harrison first had sex following a birthday party for director George Lucas, because the actress, who was 19 at the time, was "wine-sodden" and Harrison offered to drive her home.
"I looked over at Harrison," she writes.
"A hero's face - a few strands of hair fell over his noble, slightly furrowed brow.
"I was so inexperienced, but I trusted something about him. He was kind."

The pair recently reprised their roles for Star Wars: The Force Awakens, which hit cinemas last year.
Carrie has since claimed her book excerpts were being taken "out of context," but she did not elaborate other than to say she would never discuss someone's bedroom moves.

I would never talk about how someone was in any furniture--chair, bed, coffee table or otherwise

Harrison, who is now married to actress Calista Flockhart, is yet to comment on the relationship.
