Kids can’t hide boredom at meeting Kate and Prince William
Judging from our own experience of when Prince Harry unexpectedly rocked up to Be's headquarters during his Australian visit in June, meeting royalty - or even being within a 10-metre radius - is something to get pretty damn excited about.
Cue squealing, jostling for space and shouting out in a bid to get His Royal Highness' attention.
That wasn't quite the case for some lucky kids, who were given the chance to meet the future King of England, Prince William, and his wife, Kate Middleton, in Manchester, with the kids acting like it was just any other dreary old day.
Wills and Kate were seen attending a 'Stepping Out' session at the BBC Children’s department to get feedback on new TV programs.
However despite pregnant Kate brightening up the room with her red Goat dress that showed off her tiny hint of baby bump, the kids didn’t seem too enthused by the conversation, judging by the looks on their face.
Kate and Wills didn’t seem to mind though, with Prince William even sharing a joke after he was mistaken for his brother, Prince Harry later that day.
With Harry making headlines around the world thanks to his engagement news to Suits star Meghan Markle, Prince William had the perfect response when man shouted out “Hi Prince Harry” as he was leaving a cyber bullying conference later.
“I'm not ginger,” Wills quipped back to the man.
Well played, Wills. Well played.
