Revealed: Ninja Warrior contestant suffers injury in tonight's grand finale
After a couple of weeks of gruelling obstacles tasks putting the fittest of the fittest to the ultimate test, Australia’s Ninja Warrior is coming to an end tonight.
The grand finale will see 24 remaining contestants give stage two and three of the finals course a red hot go, and it’s safe to say the challenges will put them through their paces.
In fact, one of the Ninja Warriors will actually suffer a major fall during the action-packed episode.
A new promotional clip for the Channel Nine show reveals Sam Goodall crashing to his knees, trying to catch his breath as crew members hurry over to assist him.
“Looks like he’s in a bit of trouble,” host Ben Fordham’s voice projects over the footage.
It may very well be the challenging Mt Midoriyama that gets the better of the Ninja Warrior.
Contestants have 30 seconds to scale a rope hanging 22 metres from the top to the bottom.
If they make it to the top, they need to hit the buzzer right away in order to claim the $200,000 winner’s prize money.
This year a couple of famous faces have given the Ninja Warrior course a go, including former Bachelor star Tim Robards, Lisa Curry’s model son Jett Kenny, and Wiggles entertainer Simon Pryce.
The Ninja Warrior grand finale will air tonight at 7:30pm on Channel Nine.
