Oliver Curtis 'wouldn't wish' jail time on anyone

He was just seen enjoying the prestigious Derby Day celebrations with his successful wife, Roxy Jacenko.

But despite his glamorous lifestyle, the memory of Oliver Curtis' time behind bars appears to be fresh in his mind.

The disgraced banker has spoken out for the first time about about his stint in Cooma Correctional Centre, describing it as something he "would not wish on anybody".

"It was a very difficult time," he told The Daily Telegraph. "It was something that I could not prepare for, something you cannot plan for".

Oliver, who spent a year in jail after being convicted of insider trading, explained to the publication he filled his time by volunteering for duties such as hairdressing and gardening.

"Someone had to do it and I put my hand up," Oliver, 31, said, saying he now does a "good short back and sides."

Whilst in prison, Oliver's two kids, Pixie, six, and Hunter, three, believed he was away on business in China and described their emotional reunion as "something that I will never forget".

Since getting back to his normal life, he's been spotted firmly by his wife Roxy's side.

The couple briefly split during Oliver's time inside, with Roxy describing their marriage as a "train-wreck".

They've managed to get their five-year union back on track and have celebrated by getting engaged again.
